Inclusion in Multi-Stakeholder Platforms: Design, Facilitation and Evaluation

Multi-Stakeholder Platforms (MSPs) bring together diverse groups, such as governments, communities, NGOs, and the private sector to collaborate on shared goals. However, for MSPs to be truly effective, they must be inclusive, ensuring that all voices are heard and considered in decision-making.

This course provides the knowledge and practical tools to create, manage, and assess MSPs that are equitable and effective. You’ll learn how to foster inclusive participation, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and evaluate outcomes for continuous improvement.

By the end of this course, you will:

  • Understand the importance of inclusivity in Multi-Stakeholder Platforms (MSPs).
  • Design MSPs that foster equitable participation and reflect diverse stakeholder interests.
  • Facilitate inclusive discussions that promote balanced power dynamics and collaborative decision making.
  • Identify and remove barriers to participation, ensuring marginalized voices are heard.
  • Apply participatory monitoring and evaluation tools to track MSP performance and support continuous improvement.
