This learning module provides an introduction to conflict-sensitive and peace-responsive water management approaches. It is designed for stakeholders within the water sector and is a permanent part of Egypt’s National Water Research Centre’s (NWRC) Regional Annual Diploma Course on Hydraulic Engineering in River Basins. The first part of the module concerns a theoretical introduction to conflict sensitivity and the intersection of climate, peace, and security. The second part of the module consists of a participatory group exercise in which participants apply some of the key topics and concepts discussed in the previous section by engaging in a planning process for a hypothetical water infrastructure project.

This Notice applies to all personal data that CapSha collects in
the below contexts. It covers the data of:
Website Users: individuals visiting CapSha
websites and users who interact with CapSha’s official social media pages.
Event Participants: individuals registering for
or attending CapSha events, conferences, webinars, workshops, or
training sessions.
Visitors to CapSha Premises: personnel and
guests entering CapSha premises, offices, or facilities.
Newsletter Subscribers: individuals subscribing
to CapSha newsletters, email updates, or mailing lists.
Platform/Database Users: individuals creating
accounts for CapSha repositories, databases, forums, or managed
